Awakino

We stopped for lunch at this great beach called Awakino on the way home.. it was wild. As you can see I'm getting the hang of walking, still holding on to things and people as I go - I have stood on my own a few times, I reckon walking may come to me anyday now!

It was great to have Dad around all weekend...

He's into the same things as me...

These are trucks and bulldozers but we saw heaps more on the trip and Dad is great at spotting them and pointing them out to me!

Womad weekend

Hi.. we're back from Womad in one piece. I had a mean old tummy bug on Monday but have completely recovered now. Wow we saw alot of music, some of it was fantastic and some just loud and annoying. I liked it to start with but by Sunday I was starting to get sick of the crowds of people and the ground was wet from all the rain and Mum wasn't keen on me crawling about in the mud! Anyway, we saw our friends Zac, Zoe, Nancy and Cameron and they were great fun to be at the festival with and they came to stay at Grandma and Tony's house because they were very wet in their tent. Also Emily and Oscar were staying and Oscar pushed me round in a toy baby buggy which was great fun. I love staying at Grandma's place because she (and Tony) take me on walks and chat away about all sorts of things and their house is beautiful and big and Pippa their dog lives there too. So here are some photos from our fun holiday at Womad Taranaki.

Here's me helping to pack the bags...

Here are our friends Zoe, Zac, Nancy and Cameron (and that's Dad looking at something interesting and me trying to get rid of my blanket which I like when I go to sleep and that wasn't something I was planning on doing at Womad.)

This is a portugese singer called Marissa who Mum really liked.

All over the Place

Lots going on at home. Someone crashed into our car last week, we are all fine. Maybe we'll have to get a new car! (Means we are driving the landrover lots at the moment.. horray!)
Today we went to Charlie's funeral, he is dad's step grandad. They had brilliant toys at the funeral home which I played with while the adults talked about Charlie's life. I met some new cousins and saw all my aunties and uncles on Dad's side of the family. Michelle, my cousin, walked me around and around Great Nana Kay's house which was great fun.

On Friday we are off to New Plymouth to a music festival called Womad.. no idea what that's all about but Mum is getting excited! Will post a blog next week to let you know how it was.

Here's a picture of me eating vietnamese noodles at the asian food hall on the way home from Charlie's funeral.

Here's a new dinosaur I am very keen on

This is me hugging him. Bye for now...

Hanging out with my family

This weekend my Grandma and Grandpa Tony returned from visiting Dom and Kate and Bruno in London. They were tired but full of stories and we had some fun at the beach and some lovely summer dinners outside on the deck. Here is a picture of Grandpa Tony and I saying Cheers!

Kath, Ross and Irie came for the afternoon and dinner and we had fun playing on the lawn. Here is Kath and Irie and I playing ball and Ross and I hanging out...

And one more tractor!
Loving this train drivers hat thanks Sam, Eric and Fergus!
